Service Management.
Integration.
AI.

I'm an ITS Service Management Engineer with 7 years of experience, and I work across the full stack of the platforms I support. In both ServiceNow and Boomi, I'm the admin and the developer, which means I own everything from platform configuration to the integrations and workflows running on top of it. On the AI side, I'm both a builder and an enabler: piloting agentic workflows and custom tooling as proof of concepts with institution-wide deployment in mind, while also training colleagues and teams on how to actually use these tools day to day. I'm currently working on an orchestration layer to support the ServiceNow team's workload and exploring Google's Open Knowledge Format as a path to making the institution more AI-ready.

AI Champions

When AI started picking up real momentum, our institution stood up an AI Council to help guide adoption across campus. I was part of the AI Champion Task Force, the group responsible for going out and actually delivering that guidance through hands-on department trainings. From February to October 2025, we ran 50 trainings and reached over 800 faculty, staff, and students. The feedback was strong: a 4.75 out of 5.00 average survey score, with 98% of attendees saying they'd recommend the training to others. By the end of Phase 1, we had completed 89% of the AI Council's strategic goals.

ERP Transition Go-Live Operations

Our institution was moving from Banner to Workday, a big lift, and day one of go-live meant a flood of support requests with no real structure to handle them. I built a triage and escalation process in ServiceNow to keep things from falling through the cracks, plus a real-time dashboard so leadership could actually see how the rollout was tracking: incident and request volumes, escalations, categorization, time-to-resolution across every sector. We ran it for six months, and it went well enough that we gave a talk about the whole approach at the Higher Education ServiceNow User Group in Atlanta.

Boomi Vanguard

When the university brought on Boomi as our iPaaS platform, I stepped in as both Platform Admin and integrator, leading the initial adoption phase we called Boomi Vanguard. The goal was to start migrating existing integrations into Boomi and stand up new ones, getting the platform earning its keep from day one. We hit 30+ integrations in about 8 months. To put that in context, the average higher-education Boomi customer has been on the platform for 5 years and runs around 70 integrations, so Phase 1 put us well ahead of the curve.

Custom Skills Marketplace

After seeing Boomi Companion at BoomiWorld, we started exploring Claude Code and found a real use case fast. Within two months, I built a custom skill that pulled together all the documentation we'd accumulated during the Vanguard phase and put it to work, helping integrators build Boomi processes the right way with our best practices, standards, and guidelines baked in. We deployed it as a shared marketplace through Azure DevOps, one of the first repos our institution has genuinely adopted and maintained. The week after, I had a second skill out the door, this one pointed at PowerPoint, automatically applying our institution's branding assets and guidelines from Marketing and Communications.
